What you need to know before you visit Align KV Wellness.

Your patience is appreciated. We are currently maintaining the same procedures put into place to ensure the safety & comfort of everyone coming into the clinic.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:

We will be disinfecting treatment areas as well as common areas in between clients.

Some of us will continue to wear a face mask. (We ask that you respect the wishes of our staff and fellow clients if they choose to wear a mask)

Hand sanitizer in all rooms.

We are continuing to pre-screen as a general health & wellness check prior to coming in to the clinic . You can expect to hear from us to ask you some simple questions before your visit to Align.

You can expect the same relaxed, welcoming environment that you love, lots of smiles even behind the face masks.

Jamie Gray - Sport & Performance Mental Skills Educator

Jamie has been passionate about Sport Psychology since completing his undergrad degrees at the University of New Brunswick. He incorporates what he learned during his undergrad into his coaching, but has decided to pursue a doctorate as he sees a real need for this specific skill set within New Brunswick.

Jamie began teaching at Rothesay Netherwood School in 2006 where he continues to teach a variety of courses from Grades 8 to 11. He coaches the high school boys rugby team and schools co-ed golf team. He has coached hockey, baseball, soccer, boxing and kick-boxing in the past.

Jamie has been married to Emily since 2008 and has two sons; Bailey & Rylan. He also enjoys taking their dog Hersey on many walks.

Sheryl graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario in 2017. Originally from Nova Scotia, she worked as an Osteopath in Chatham Ontario before moving back East to the beautiful province of New Brunswick.

With a long held interest in mindfulness and functional movement, she previously trained as a Yoga Therapist specializing in Yoga for People with Cancer and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Sheryl loves the holistic nature of Osteopathy allowing many methods of treatment to support the health of the person, including body, mind, and spirit.

Monica is a certified Osteopath and Kinesiologist. Her journey in health care began as she graduated from Saint Francis Xavier University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with a minor in Health Sciences. At St. FX she gained experience in personal training, group exercise, sports rehab and more.

Monica then began her studies the following fall in Osteopathy and Graduated from the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques (Halifax, 2022).

Through manual therapy techniques Monica is able to help her patients with a variety of conditions including Back/neck pain, whiplash, TMJ/jaw problems, soft tissue injuries: sprains, strains, tendonitis, joint dysfunctions & arthritic pain, nerve pain: sciatic, numbness & tingling, and more!

Osteopath & Certified Athletic Therapist

Tara started her education with a BSc from Mount Allison University where she played varsity soccer and then completed another BSc with Distinction in Exercise Science: Athletic Therapy from Concordia University.

She worked in the Quebec Major Junior for the Victoriaville Tigers for 2 years then returned home in 2005. She continued working in hockey with U-17 Men’s Team Atlantic, U-18 Women’s Team Atlantic, U-22 Canadian Women’s Team, NB Men’s Canada Games Team, U-18 Canadian Women’s and VIto’s Midget AAA.

She decided to further her studies in Osteopathy and Graduated from the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques (Halifax, 2013). She completed her thesis in collaboration with the pediatric department at the Saint John Regional Hospital titled “The effect of adjunctive osteopathic treatment on outcomes in pediatric functional fecal retention”

She was the recipient of the “The William Garner Sutherland D.O. Thesis Award- The award for the most representative thesis for the advancement of Osteopathy in the field of clinical research, for outstanding research contribution.”

Osteopathy is a safe and effective manual therapy for all ages. Tara treats a wide range of injuries and conditions but has a passion for treating babies, children and helping women during their pregnancies.

Outside of the clinic, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, two young kids, friends, doing CrossFit and being active outdoors.
